The Right Reverend Richard Walker, Auxiliary Bishop of Birmingham;
Cardinal Radcliffe has often worked with and prayed for the homeless. His written work reminds us that homelessness is not just a crisis of hope, of loneliness and of belonging, homelessness is also spiritual. The feeling of being forgotten and unwanted by society leads to both a physical and a spiritual pain in which the human soul at its heart can lose hope and so feel like they are losing their human dignity.
Cardinal Radcliffe says “By supporting OXPAT, and so the homeless support services in Oxford, you do more than provide a roof or a warm meal; you ensure that our most vulnerable neighbours are seen, known by name, and welcomed into a community.”
